A university tutor I know told me about the ordinal form, it seems everyone has their own theories on this movement.
My theory is that the Ordinal Form is not so much an organisation as it is a way of thinking. It is the belief of some that the Ordinal Form incorporates a sense of logic and science into ideas of politics and philosophy.
Whether it is a real movement or merely a comment on the human condition in relation to current affairs, I for one will be watching very closely.
Glad to find your blog. The messages and ideas of the TAOF are uplifting as they are fascinating.
I was also directed here by a friend. I think that by supplying little information The Ordinal Form has managed to please everyone. Everyone I know is talking about how innovative, revolutionary, influential and advanced it is, But I am not a believer just yet. I agree that it is an extremely clever marketing campaign, but until I see something concrete, I will continue to be skeptical.
I need a politician or a scientific theory to be backed up with proof before I will commit myself and my name to support it's cause.
It takes more than a clever marketing campaign and a good promise to gain my support.
I will, however, watch very closely as well. If The Ordinal Form does keep it's promise and proves to be the sane alternative to an insane world, I will be a believer!
I found the Ordinal Form in a unique way. I saw the website address scrawled across some graphic comic art.
Closer examination of the movement shows an emphasis on philosophy as well as some sort of political message. It is all shrouded with a totalitarian- Orwellian aesthetic. This seems contradictory when we analyse the name and supposed message.

I'm not sure what to think.
